Enterprise Architecture Foundation with TOGAF® 10 Standard

Course target

By attending the 3-day training, you will be able to gain a comprehensive insight into the TOGAF® (The Open Group Architecture Framework) 10 standard, which is one of the most widely used and recognized enterprise architecture solutions in the world. As part of the training, it will be possible to learn TOGAF® 10 basic elements and standard structure, including the Architecture Development Method (ADM).

To build an understanding of the TOGAF® 10 standard and its role in organization-level architecture analysis and management. It also includes full preparation for taking the international certification exam.

System and solution architects of all levels who want to gain in-depth knowledge in the field of architecture
Business analysts and IT professionals who want to understand the TOGAF® 10 standard in order to successfully participate in the architecture change management process
Leaders who want to understand organizational-level IT technology change management and optimization processes.

By the end of the course, you will be able to

Understand the basic concepts of both enterprise architecture and the TOGAF® architecture framework
Understand the organization-level architectural change management and technology optimization process
Understand the scope of TOGAF® and its relationship to other standards
Understand TOGAF® standard terminology, the objectives of the ADM cycle and each individual stage, adapting them to the scope of the ADM
Understand the prerequisites for TOGAF® implementation at the organizational level
Apply TOGAF® ARCHIMATE notation to represent architecture.

Introduction to the nature of organization-level architecture, history of development, challenges of modern organization and justification of necessity
TOGAF® certification levels, process and scope
TOGAF® basic elements, definitions and standard terminology
Introduction to ADM, its essence, goals, tasks of each stage (including at a high level, adapting and expanding the application of ADM)
Introduction to ADM techniques and their application in corresponding ADM stages
TOGAF® reference models and classification of architectural artifacts
Logical elements of architecture
Introduction to organization-level architecture management processes
TOGAF® architectural representation tool (Archi) and notation (Archimate)
TOGAF® implementation prerequisites
Knowledge self-test tasks, test.

TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation certification exam (exam costs are already included in the course price).
