Veeam Backup & Replication V13: Configure, Manage and Recover

Course target

“The Veeam® Backup & Replication™ V13: Configure, Manage and Recover” is a technical course focused on teaching IT professionals the skills to configure, manage and support a Veeam® Backup & Replication V13 solution.

You will have the opportunity to learn:

effective data protection and management across both on-premises and cloud environments, using modern data protection approaches, including backup, replication, and immutability solutions

the ability to respond appropriately to various data recovery scenarios, including system failures and cyber threats

real-world problem solving based on practical, real-life scenarios.

This course is based on Veeam® Backup & Replication V13, part of Veeam® Data Platform.

Audience

  • Anyone responsible for configuring, managing or supporting a Veeam® Backup & Replication V13 environment.

By the end of the course, you will be able to

  • Describe Veeam® security concepts.
  • Given a scenario, configure a backup job and a backup copy job.
  • Explain network-attached storage (NAS) backups and configuration.
  • Describe Veeam’s® replication capabilities.
  • Determine appropriate use case for backups, replicas and/or continuous data protection.
  • Configure backup infrastructure components, including proxy and repository servers.
  • Given a scenario, evaluate when and how to apply immutability settings.
  • Given a scenario, recover data from backups.

Prerequisites

  • Participants should have experience working with servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
  • An understanding of Veeam® Backup & Replication concepts is also required.
